Our surveying roots go back to 1986, when we transitioned from traditional surveying to aerial surveying.
Thomas Hoppe, an OLS engineering graduate, began his career as a surveyor in Ontario and has lived and worked throughout North America in a variety of roles: professional surveyor, technical instructor, technical support specialist, aerial survey manager and UAV pilot.

Currently based in Lake Country, British Columbia, Thomas provides surveying and aerial photography services across Canada. With an advanced RPAS pilot certificate and a flight reviewer rating, Thomas provides UAV aerial photography services, contract UAV piloting, UAV/GNSS data processing and training to numerous clients.
